How to Input Chinese?
Open any text editor, switch the current language to Chinese - CH by pressing ATL+SHIT or CTRL+SPACE. Type in Chinese Pinyin. Then you will see Chinese word suggestions appearing in a selection bar. You choose a Chinese word by pressing a number. Then the corresponding Chinese word will be inputed into the text editor.

1. How Long does Each Chinese Lesson Last?
You decide how long each Chinese lesson should last to fit in your schedule and life style. Chinese lessons could have different length. However, if a Chinese lesson is less than 30 minutes it may not be efficient. A typical Chinese lesson lasts for one hour.

2. What Study Material Does 1 on 1 Chinese Tutors Use?
You can choose your own study material. Your Chinese tutor can suggest study materials. Or you can choose to learn daily Chinese, Chinese culture, Chinese history, etc.

3. What is the Format of Chinese Lessons?
You can decide what format you like. It could be a lecture format, question and answers, conversational format, reading, writing, or any other format you are interested in.

4. What are Other Fees I Need to Pay?
You pay $10/hour for your actual Chinese tutoring time. There is no any other fees, no hidden costs.

5. What Equipment I Need to Have?
You need a computer with Internet connection, a headset with microphone, optionally a webcam. That's all you need. Nowadays, these are common to everyone.

6. Can I Cancel a Chinese Lesson if I cannot Make It?
Yes, you can. If you cannot make it please cancel your Chinese lesson one day before the lesson date.

7.Do I have to Pay Before my Chinese Lesson?
No you don't. Our regular students can either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. For non-regular students we prefer you pay first but it's not a requirement.

8. Do I have to take the Chinese lessons in certain time periods?
No, you can take a Chinese lesson any time you like. We will find a Chinese tutor to fit your schedule.

9. How Can I Read Chinese on My Browser?
For IE, on the menu bar go to View->Encoding->More. Choose either Unicode or Chinese Simplified or Chinese Traditional.
For Firefox, on the menu bar go to View->Character Encoding. Choose either Unicode or Chinese Simplified or Chinese Traditional.
